ButterBean Kitten

update on Butterbean
Amazingly, Butterbean is gaining some nerve function! He has some movement in his tail and thanks to warm baths and gentle physical therapy his tail can now unkink fully. He is also getting some motion in his lower back.

One of our vets saw him and thinks he only needs one leg amputated because it is in the way and gets caught on things.

We are still raising funds for his surgery and general care.
Butterbean kitten
Butterbean was born with severely deformed hind legs, which only get in the way and cause problems. In addition he is incontinent. He was turned into a shelter in Florida. Through www.handicappedpets.net Bendy's home for handicapped pets learned about this little guy and offered to take him in.

We need to raise funds to have his legs and tail amputated (it will make it much easier for him to get around, actually, and easier to keep clean).

Bendy's Home has cared for incontinent cats before, and had a two legged resident as well so Butterbean will be quite welcome here and won't seem strange at all.

Please help little Butterbean!
